Ratios are discrete catalog options. Not every ratio and motor interface is available in every size.

Use the catalog torque ceiling and gearbox weight to narrow the size. B denotes two stages; C denotes three. Final output torque depends on the selected ratio, input speed and duty.

Torque ceilings come from the selection tables at n₁ = 1,400 r/min. They are not the permissible torque for every ratio. Check the exact configuration row and service factor in the catalog.

Share the operating requirements and available space. Mach can help identify the gearbox, motor connection and mounting arrangement.

Speed and torque
Send the motor input speed, required output speed and load torque. Keep continuous duty, starting loads and shock loads distinct.
Duty and loading
Include hours of operation per day, starts per hour and any radial or axial shaft loads. These affect the service factor and allowable loading.
Motor and shaft connection
Provide the motor flange and shaft dimensions, plus the required hollow-bore, single-shaft or double-shaft output. Include a motor drawing when available.
Mounting and environment
Specify the mounting orientation, space envelope and ambient conditions. Lubrication requirements depend on the selected unit and installation position.
